Created in 2009, Sonuma is the owner of a footage collection, starting in 1956, produced by RTBF, the Belgian Public Television. The company also distributes a wide range of current programs from RTBF.

Sonuma’s archives cover historical events with unique images of the Saigon Fall, the Prague Spring or the Congo independence, music performances from Jazz to Rock (Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, John Coltrane, Black Sabbath, Genesis, U2…), interviews of major world figures in politics (Mitterrand, Martin Luther King, Robert Kennedy…), arts (Magritte, Andy Warhol, Hitchcock, Truffaut) and sports (Eddy Merckx, Jean-Michel Saive, Stefan Everts).The footage collection include more than 100.000 hours restored in 2 k and made available to broadcasters, producers, archive researchers, publishing companies and Museums.

Sonuma is the owner of a footage collection produced by RTBF, the Belgian Public Television.

SVT Archives is the largest source of footage in Scandinavia, containing over 300 000 hours of material and more is added daily. We offer footage from a wide range of topics – such as entertainment, history, politics, music, people, travel, news and science.
